Stand with us and Gift a Night Off the Streets to support people struggling on our streets this winter.
We urgently need to raise at least $159,483 to provide 2,658 nights of accommodation, warm beds, showers, basic hygiene essentials, clean clothes and hot meals to people experiencing homelessness this winter.
Together, we can show them they're not forgotten in these tough times.
We need to support the most vulnerable members of our community to show them they’re not alone.

The Problem
Right now there are 9,729 people in Western Australia experiencing homelessness on any given night. They don’t have access to the basic essentials, like a safe place to sleep, a warm meal and clean clothes.
And as the weather gets colder, sleeping on the streets is a struggle so people are desperate to find shelter and comfort.
This winter, we urgently need to provide 2,658 nights of accommodation at Vinnies Tom Fisher House for people struggling on our streets. With enough funding, we'll be able to Give A Night Off the Streets to those who are doing it tough.
How you can help
YOU can help ‘Gift A Night’ at Tom Fisher House to someone experiencing homelessness this winter.
By sponsoring a night, you can help provide them with a warm bed, clean clothes and a hot meal. Because when you’re alone and living on the streets, it’s nice to know someone is looking out for you.
We need to fund 2,658 nights of accommodation for those experiencing homelessness this winter.

YOU can gift a night to provide a person on our streets with a warm bed, clean clothes and a hot meal.
Your Impact
John* grew up surrounded by Family Domestic Violence. By early adulthood, the trauma had become overwhelming, forcing him to leave his home in rural Western Australia just to stay safe. But the pain followed him.
Living with complex post-traumatic stress disorder and severe depression and grieving the loss of his partner, John reached a point where he felt there was no way forward. At his lowest point, he attempted to take his own life.
But John’s story did not end there.
After experiencing rough sleeping, John was referred to Tom Fisher House for respite. Here, he was met with compassion, dignity and care. He had access to the basics many of us take for granted:
- a warm bed
- nourishing hot meals
- clean clothes
More importantly, he found a safe space where he could begin to feel human again. Staff stood beside John every step of the way, offering emotional support and practical help, always recognising the depth of trauma he had experienced. Together, they worked to rebuild trust, connection and hope. With support, John was linked in with mental health services and pathways to stable housing.
*People's names are changed to protect their identity and uphold their dignity.
