Stand with us and Gift A Night Off the Streets to support people struggling on our streets this winter.
We urgently need to raise $563,730 to provide 9,890 nights of accommodation, warm beds, showers, basic hygiene essentials, clean clothes and hot meals to people experiencing homelessness this winter.
Together, we can show them they're not forgotten in these tough times.
We need to support the most vulnerable people in our society to show them they’re not alone.

The Problem
Right now, there are 35,011 people experiencing homelessness in NSW. They don’t have access to the basic essentials, like a safe place to sleep, a warm meal and clean clothes.
And as the weather gets colder, sleeping on the streets is a struggle so people are desperate to find shelter and comfort.
This winter, we urgently need to provide 9,890 nights of accommodation at the Matthew Talbot Hostel. With enough funding, we'll be able to gift a night in the hostel to those who are doing it tough.
We need to support the most vulnerable people in our society to show them they’re not alone.
How you can help
YOU can ‘Gift A Night’ at the Matthew Talbot Hostel to someone experiencing homelessness this winter.
By sponsoring a night, you can provide them with a warm bed, clean clothes and a hot meal. Because when you’re alone and living on the streets, it’s nice to know someone is looking out for you.
We need to fund 9,890 nights at the Matthew Talbot Hostel this winter for people experiencing homelessness.
The colder weather is a struggle on the streets so people are desperate to find shelter and warmth.

Your Impact
A tough life left Gary with no home and sleeping rough.
Thanks to our generous donors, Gary was able to stay at our Matthew Talbot Hostel where we were able to give him the hand up he needed to get back on his feet.
During his stay at the Matthew Talbot Hostel, we were able to provide Gary with life-changing assistance including:
- A safe place to stay, a warm bed and regular meals.
- Access to our on-site health clinic to address his complex mental and physical health issues to help Gary manage better.
- Support and advocacy to help Gary find a more permanent place to live.
Today, Gary is in a safe and secure place which he now calls home thanks to the support of Vinnies and The Matthew Talbot Hostel.
