No one should go hungry tonight. YOU can help.
Across NSW, thousands of people are going hungry or sleeping rough. Every night our 13 Vinnies Vans roll into communities across NSW to help the most vulnerable in our neighbourhoods.
More people than ever are turning to Vinnies Vans for help.
Last year we served 115,000 people. But demand is growing faster than we can keep up. Right now, shelves are emptying and some vans risk going out with less than they need.
The people we assist are experiencing poverty, disadvantage and homelessness. Many haven’t eaten all day. Others haven’t spoken to anyone in days. The Vinnies Vans meet people with genuine connection, as well as providing essential food and care items.
Fill the Vans so people can feel fed, warm and cared for.

About our Vinnies Vans
Strengthening Communities, Transforming Lives
We have 13 vans across the state from Wagga Wagga, Orange, Campbelltown, Greater Western Sydney, Liverpool, Bayside, Sydney Metro, Ryde to Woy Woy, Newcastle, Coffs Harbour and Lismore. We make 106 stops every week providing care and support to the most vulnerable people in our communities. Each year, our Vans:
assist over 115,000 people
serve over 230,000 meals
provide 42,500 snack packs
provide 64,000 toiletry packs
Julie's Story
When you donate, you Fill the Vans to help someone like Julie.
Julie is a mum, she works and earns an income. But she struggles to feed her children, pay the bills and keep a roof over her family’s head. And the ongoing cost-of-living and housing crisis is making her battle much harder. Julie tells us:
“At the moment I’m going through a hard time with food and the bills that come on top of it…the weeks and months go so fast and you just feel like you can never catch up because bills are just flying out of everywhere”.
Because of kind supporters like you, our Vinnies Vans can provide Julie with food and snack packs for the kids to take to school, helping relieve some pressure for Julie and her family.
“….it’s hard, I’m struggling. You get to Sunday and you think of the week ahead and you check your bank and wallet, but you know in your head you just need to make it until Wednesday. I’ve got hungry little ones. I would take enough food from the Vinnies Vans home to last me for the week for my kids at school. It goes a long way. It’s a relief.”
Please donate today and help Fill the Vans so people just like Julie and her children can feel fed, warm and cared for.
Please help Fill the Vans

I would like to volunteer for vinnies because my mother who passed away last year was a vinnies volunteer and we prayed at her requiem mass that more people will help vinnies in the future
