Queenslanders affected by fire urgently need your help now

Food and essentials

When a family loses everything, they urgently need the basics. Your gift will purchase emergency food, toiletries and essential household items for a disaster-affected family.

Emergency Housing

Rebuilding can take months, even years. When a family’s home is burnt to the ground and they need a temporary place to live, your kindness will help provide basic furniture to stabilise their family, pay rent and get them back on their feet.

Clothing

You can provide a family with basic clothing when they've fled with nothing.

Always there. Fire, Flood and Drought. Always will be.

Thank you for your donation to the Vinnies Disaster Appeal.

Your kindness means we can help more Queenslanders affected by this terrible disaster.

If you prefer, you can also call 13 18 12 to make a donation.

When a family’s home is entirely destroyed by fire and with nowhere else to go, your generous donation can help fund a temporary rental home, provide the basic furnishings and pay for essential needs to get back on their feet.

It is comforting to know there are people who are willing to give to make hard times that little bit easier to bear.

“Some people will struggle to recover from this…as a volunteer myself, I know Vinnies will be on hand to help people rebuild their lives."

         - Amanda, who had to flee her Sunshine Coast home as a raging bushfire closed in.
