Raised so far

It’s been a tough year for Territory families and Vinnies has seen an increase in the request for help. This Christmas, we’re asking Territorians to dig deep and donate to Vinnies NT as part of the ABC Radio Vinnies Appeal.

Families like David’s are facing a Christmas like no other.

Food on the table

Your donation today can provide a hamper of groceries to a family who would otherwise go hungry.

Help with essentials

Your donation can help cover utility bills and essentials like toiletries to uphold the dignity of families in crisis.

The comfort of home

Your donation can help give families the comfort and security of a home this Christmas by supporting emergency rent payments.

Millions of Australian families will be spending this Christmas in poverty

Many of them are facing hardship for the first time and have suddenly found themselves frightened about how they will keep a roof over their head and put food on the table let alone celebrate on Christmas Day. Vinnies is taking pressure off families who are at breaking point by providing food hampers, emotional support, and help with essentials.

“Covid hit and I lost my job within days. 100% of my income just gone, like that overnight. It was gut-wrenching... A friend suggested I get in touch with Vinnies but it wasn't easy to make the call. I'm 38 and it was the first time I've ever got help from anywhere.”

Will you help Australian families just like David’s with a donation this Christmas?
